Google prepares update to fix security flaws for Android

Google is preparing to launch a global update to plug a security hole following reports that 99.7 percent of smartphone with Android operating system are vulnerable to exploitation of piracy.

Earlier this week, a research group at the University of Ulm in Germany found that hackers could "have full access to the agenda of the [users], contact information, or private web album."

The search giant said in a statement that the song: "Today we are starting to deploy a solution that addresses a security issue that could, under certain circumstances, allow third party access to the available data on the calendar and contacts.
